He happened to be within the vicinity last night due to a final interview as a real-time analyst at Sitel, so he thought it would be a great time to catch up.
I thought so, too.
Jaryl was among my posse of nearest and dearest back in PeopleSupport — and it’s been a year or so since I left — but it still surprises me whenever he does these little attempts to catch up. I mean, guys aren’t usually the keeper type when it came to female friends. I was really touched with how he seemed reluctant to end the conversation as I still had work and he still had to go to Makati and meet up with his buddies from PS Forcedesk. Just before he left, he requested a little friendly hug. Oh God, how I love this guy. He must really be the dongsaeng (Korean for “younger brother”) I never had.
